Why is montel doing infomercials

Essentially Money Mutual runs advertisements and parses out the resulting leads to lenders in their "network" for a fee. Payday lenders operate in states with lax consumer lending laws. They are considered to be predatory due to extraordinarily high interest rates and their lending practices.

These include encouraging consumers to roll over loans which compounds the already high interest rates that these companies charge. A large portion of payday lending is done with US armed services personnel and their families. According to the company's website , Williams endorses Money Mutual because, among other things, Montel takes pride in being able to provide people with information to help them live better physically, spiritually, financially, and emotionally.

MS is an insidious, progressive disease. So while he's still getting around OK, his speech and diction have been affected at times. Happily he's sounding pretty good in this latest one.

He's an ass. Plus does he get a pension from the military, or did he get out. I have no sympathy for him. I hated his show. All that fake empathy. And his constant, "We gonna take a little break, then we gonna fiiind out".

Although the machine was loud it processed food well for the first 2 months with no issues except a burning smell coming from the motor housing. I attributed this to break in and disregarded it. After that we started noticing a problem with the bearing housing between the blade inside the plastic container and the motor coupling shaft. I then went on the internet to research this product and found many other complaints of this problem.

The bearing grease was coming out the bottom of the "sealed bearing". I tried to arrest this condition by surface sealing it with silicone. I also tried to contact customer service regarding this issue and instructions for returning the unit but was discouraged after not being able to get through after many, many tries. Eight months after purchasing the unit the bearing is completely destroyed rendering the blender useless. What disturbs me the most is that this is a known problem but Montel Williams continues to endorse and sell this product.

In the end the consumer gets bilked out of their hard earned dollar with no recourse. If you are thinking about buying this product do yourself a favor and do your research first.

Expensive but worth it, especially after the Living Well with Montel experience. If there was a negative rating I would have selected it for the grief this has caused me!!!! Are the members of the audience paid? I mean who wants to spend an hour of their life watching a product demonstration? This guy is a joke and so are the crappy products that they force feed him.

Soon he will be a vegetable advertising V8 juices. And if you want to talk about somebody being "reduced to" something embarrassing It was so dumb; Cher is hardly ever seen without a wig, so why should anybody think she's an expert on hair products? After being ridiculed for her informercial Cher tried to make it seem like she was just doing a friend a favor by being in the infamous ad.

But she did admit: "I did a smarmy thing. I still don't get why Cher got such backlash for that. What was the big deal? At least the products were decent it was Lori Davis Haircare, btw.

I tried the conditioner once it was sold in stores and liked it! Montel's "products" are waaaaay more smarmy. I mean it doesn't get any more smarmy than a visit from Sylvia fuckin' Browne. He actually wanted to put Sylvia Browne on a healthy diet using his blender. I nearly spit up my zinfandel. Is Montel Broke, did he not make enough doing his mediocre talk show, with that loopy, half drugged psychic lady, creepy.

Anyhow, I have seen him sell everything from coins to blenders and the latest was a packet for safe airline travel. After almost an hour of discussing the problem of depression, Mr. Williams presented the guests with the answer to their problems: a set of books he had written.

In other episodes, he suggested solving various issues by buying a debt-relief kit, a rotisserie grill or a blender. For this was not a television show. Williams is being paid depending on how well the products sell. Williams has put his "Living Well" brand on several new products, and he will soon promote other brands, too, like books from Men's Health magazine.

He is paid no salary, only a share of profits that depends on how much he sells.
