Why do we get saved

To God be the glory for the great and marvelous things He has done! But you may wonder, Why do I need to be saved? This is why we need to be saved!

On our side, the Bible says we must repent and believe to be saved. To repent simply means to have a turn, or change, in our mind. So to repent means we turn away from everything else to God. In addition, we must believe in Jesus as our Savior who died in our place and shed His blood to obtain forgiveness for our sins. Eventually we will spend eternity with God in heaven.
