User Info: gintitan. Ok, I'll try to explain this as detailed as possible. First of all, the reason why degeneration is necessary and why you won't get your digimon up to lvl 99 if you don't do it. If you have a digimon, you can look up it's stats and you will find something called "Aptitude". Every Digimon has a different Aptitude. This Aptitude is basically a level cap. For Example, if your starters Digimon Aptitude is level 10, you won't be able to level above level You will notice it by not getting any exp anymore once your digimon hits level To increase your Aptitude you have to digivolve your digimon.
But you'll reach a point where your level cap is below the required level to digivolve usually from Ultra to Mega. This is where you have to degenerate in order to further increase your level cap Aptitude. Degenerate from the Mega Level to baby level to get the most aptitude.
You will have to degenerate several times to not only increase the stats faster but also to hit the 99 level cap. But don't worry. The benefits from degenerating are great. The stats of your digimon will be higher than they were before. Your digimon level faster since you don't have to grind at the low level locations. The releveling happens at a much faster rate and your digimon stats will benefit greatly from it. You should always level up to the level cap, digivolve and when you can't digivolve it anymore, you should degenerate it.
Once in the digital world, the dart most likely not hit a digimon, so you may have to try several times. You can degenerate a Digimon several ranks at a time, as mentioned. The digimon is then sent to your digibank where you have the option of placing it in your party you can have up to six digimon in your party or placing it on your farm island. Adding on to this, it appears that some Digimon drop two items.
Then from the digi-egg you can hatch them to get a different digimon or perhaps ones you already have. Beelzemon appears first at Sky Palace and then at Destroyed Belt. He is the second Great Demon Lord that the player fights. You can degenerate a Digimon several ranks at a time, as mentioned. Then simply move your cursor using the D-pad and select either digivolve or degenerate to proceed. Just take your DemiDevimon with you and put it in your main team with other weak digimon. Put your REAL main team as reserve.
Go into battles and let the weak digimon including DemiDevimon get killed over and over. Agumon is a Fire Vaccine type, Rookie level Digimon. If not meeting the requirements for any of those Champions before the age of 7, it will digivolve into Numemon if Attack is higher, or Geremon if Wisdom is higher.
