I just noticed 3 little yellow growths on the tops of a couple of the buds.

I have gone and picked them off but I am wondering is I should even continue flowering this plant. Is it just gonna keep kicking them out or is there a chance that it may not?? I know most people are gonna ask about light leaks so I will be checking it when the lights go off tonight, though the last 2 plants had no problems in that room.

Re: What to do about nanners?? I can only speak from my experience. I'm in the process of switching strains now but the strain I've been growing for the last couple years would give me this problem in the latter part of flowering. I don't know why. I'm I've sat in the room in the dark on quite a few occasions to be sure and seen no glimmers anywhere. I thought it's just a bit of instability in the plant. I thought the plants might stabilize if I cloned up a few generations instead of using the original mother ie clones of clones of clones.

At least I've read that this can make them more stable. In his case it was looking like the cause was cold temps at night. So it does seem like stress can cause them, as everyone says Though I've read of people deliberately trying to make a plant go hermie through stress random light changes and having no luck.

This is maybe getting maybe a bit rambling, lol, smoked a bit too much to type properly. At worst there would be a few on each of the biggest buds. If I went through once a week to check I would get them all or almost all. Sometimes a plant would grow 2 or 3 and I'd pick them out and never see any more on that plant.

There weren't ever very many. I did get some seeds if I wasn't careful but usually hardly any. These female flowers don't seem to put out the large amounts of pollen that the males do. I don't like picking through the buds like that and getting all sticky. But it wasn't difficult to control the problem. Just took some of the fun out of things. I am guessing it is stress from a couple of cold nights that caused it. We had a few nights below 30 c here and my flower room is in the basement so the temps would drop.

A random jumping ability. Just get as far away as possible and pull your pet off, because this is when he can get close to the elite elemental.

Use this as an opportunity to heal your pet up. He got very close to the elemental but apparently doesn't pull it as long as the pet isn't following him around. His damage is fairly weak, I health funneled three times the whole fight and the fight does take a while because he has 4.

Feel free to blow all your offensive cooldowns to make the fight go faster. I didn't have to use a single defensive cooldown, but let your teleport stay off cd in case of an emergency. Another good idea is to use if for some strange reason you don't already. If crap happens and something else aggroes, jump off the cliff then demon leap.

The drop is far enough that it will reset him. Comment by lightclaw Soloed as a feral druid. Clear the two guards on the side by the pond or at least the one right by the water.

You might be able to pull him past them, but I would be afraid of aggroing one during the fight. He is leashed, though his leash is pretty long, it goes almost to the waterfall on the far side of the pond.

However, two or three unlucky jumps when he Goes Bananas and he'll reset. You want to fight him right at the edge of the water as much as you can. His Bananarang ability is nasty, k ticks of magic damage, he throws it in the direction he is facing, and it travels faster than you can run - just step to the side and you should be fine.

Make sure it doesn't catch you in the back of the head on its return. Not only would that be bad for you, it would also be terrible cliche. When he Goes Bananas, he will start jumping around and slamming into the ground. Run around so that he doesn't jump on you and you should be fine. You can run toward where he lands and get a hit in as long as you keep moving. It can be dangerous, but if you are able to let him finish casting this and start channeling, you can stun him immediately and he won't jump around.

However, if you are standing still waiting for the cast, the very first jump will be right on top of you. This seems to work best when you run around a bit while he channels then run in just as the cast is finishing to stun him.

There is a lot of movement in this fight, and for at least half of the time you will be out of melee range of the Major. Focusing your damage on DoTs helps dramatically.

If you die, you cannot rez at your corpse, you have to spirit rez and wait 10 minutes before your next attempt. Comment by Spanws on the very edge of Vale of Eternal Blossoms. For me, this whole area was still phased preventing me from pulling him; however, you can fly just south of him and be in the Valley of the Four Winds zone to make him un-phased. Theres a skinny but long ledge on the cliff that borders the vale and the valley for you to fight him on.

As a mage I put Slow Fall on myself, flew up to the edge of the valley, used an instant cast to pull him and spammed other various abilities to prevent im from resetting. He followed me down to the ledge I spoke of and killed him there. Comment by kabes Solo'd as a hunter. His regular melee damage isn't that bad so you don't need a tenacity pet. The damage from his abilities on the other hand will kill you in a second or two.

When he goes bananas pull your pet back and just constantly move to avoid his ground pounds. Also stay at a good range so you can easily avoid the bananas he throws. I was able to use scatter shot to stop him from doing his "going bananas" thing and I would also use intimidation to stop him from using some of his abilities. Be sure to clear out the 4 or so elites near him first so you have room to move around.

If you are going to use something like stampede, only use it directly after the going bananas finishes so that they wont be up when he goes bananas or else they will follow him around as he jumps and might aggro adds. Take your time and it will get done. I died the first time, had to get res. It's not a high traffic area. Got the whistle and a cape. Comment by Lore Part of the Achievement Glorious! For a full guide on all the rare elites of Pandaria go to this post in the guide section.

Comment by Pulled him in to the water without aggroing any of his elite buddies. As a warrior I just used charge immediately when he was Going Bananas; this interupts his spaz attack and prevents him from jumping far away and aggroing nearbys elites. Comment by judge40 If you are having problems killing him due to phasing issues, there is a simple solution for some classes. If you put a ground AoE down where he spawns while he's phased out, then fly off the cliff and land on the very small platform just off the side.

As you leave the zone he'll re-appear, then when you land he'll come running if your AoE is still active. Doing this he'll only come with one guard the one closest to the ledge , if you feel you have enough time before someone else comes then pull him in the same manner. I wouldn't recommend fighting him on this ledge, Going Bananas is unavoidable on here. However, once he's got down to you just hit him a couple of times and then jump to the next platform. If you jump down one more then you get quite a large albeit narrow area to fight him in.

Good luck. Comment by Coreus The devs did not think to enable flying in ghost form in the Vale, so if you die fighting this mob you'll be forced to spirit res.

I ended up being able to pull him from the Valley from As a druid, i used Glyph of Faerie Fire for a 40 yard pull and Glyph of Grace to minimize the fall damage, but most classes should have some trick to manage a ranged pull and survive the fall damage.

Comment by CaptainWater Like one special YouTube commentator states guess who , "Nanners" is another word for banana, hence the abilities he has. Comment by Oomie That lake is not a lake at all. Comment by Sharkon All Hozen rares use the same set of abilities. Toss Filth hits for negligible damage, but its stacking damage debuff can be trouble if it gets too high.

Fortunately, it should have time to reset during Going Bananas. Bananarang is lethal if it strikes you. Simply strafe to one side while the Hozen is casting it until he throws it. Remember to stay out of the path even after this, because true to the name it will come back to him. Going Bananas is the most dangerous ability in a Hozen's arsenal.

During Going Bananas, the Hozen will leap around the battlefield causing massive damage if he lands on you. It's hard to get out from under the Hozen's landing point because he moves so fast, so surviving this attack is somewhat a matter of luck unless you have defensive cooldowns to pop every time he uses it, or can kill him before he does it a second time.

It's best to fight Hozen in a large, open area to give him more room to jump around, decreasing the chances that he'll land on you; if he doesn't start in such a space, kite him to one. Alternatively, stunning the Hozen during the channel will put a stop to the attack, while stunning him during the initial cast will only cause him to cast it again once the effect wears off.

Comment by Skeven If you're doing this solo, make sure you don't pull him too far away. Whenever he is Going Bananas you don't want him to jump away too far. Whenever I tried to pull him into the waters and keep a safe distance from the elites surrounding him he began Going Bananas and jumped too far away and started to evade immediately after the ability ended. It ended with someone else taking him from me since I couldn't mount up fast enough due to combat, and lost the rare.

So keep that in mind. Comment by ellil This is quite easy as a shadow priest. A few tips: 1. Pull him into the water.

The first rock IN the water just north of his position is where you should be centered. When he casts his banana boomerang, remember where you are and where he is standing.

Do not stand at either of those spots. As he casts it move away from those spots and don't stand in between those 2 spots. The banana will either stay where he is or go to where you were as he cast it. When running away from the banana, use levitate while in the water to get a little more speed. When he goes bananas, use void tendrils to completely nullify the ability. Try to always work towards the rock. If done correctly you will barely take any damage at all.

Comment by crazeheals That banana ability 3 shotted my priest Comment by Totally pulled this off regardless of the phase issue. I tanked on my pally to the south edge of the mountian. Quick exploit b4 teh nerfin All I did is cleared the higher platform, above him, 2 elite hozens.

Pulled him up and sent pet in to keep him busy. If you are not confident about it, MD him to your pet. He's got 2 abilities to watch for: - Bananarang: Simply avoid it, however, your pet might take some damage, keep the Mend Pet up on him. When he starts to jump arouind, simply use Scatter Shot on him.

If you execute everything right, you shouldn't have problems with him. Happy Hunting. Comment by Raivyn79 There is a way around the phasing. There is a ledge off to the side of where he stands his left , sticking out from the side of the mountain, and you can pull him down to it. My boyfriend hunter was flying over said ledge and took a pot shot, fell to the ledge, and there we were able to kill him without phasing being an issue.

Comment by Note that he has a very large range for targeting addons. NPCscan picked him up for me halfway across the zone, at Golden Pagoda. Comment by Tysent Despite all the elites surrounding him and his hozen abilities, the mob isn't actually that intimidating whatsoever. His 'Going Bananas' ability is nullified by the snare, so I as a Balance Druid pretty much just nuked him and casted Entangling Roots every other spell to be on the safe side.

Do note that if you go this route you will get high stacks of the Filth buff it increases your damage taken so be careful not to be hit by his Bananarang! Comment by eldaanzari I'm not a betting man, but I'd say this fellow might like bananas.

Comment by Lems Just soloed this guy as a rogue. That's right A few tips for other rogues Comment by it is very important to dodge the nanner he tosses around, make sure you clear enough space to run around, also it is a neccessity to dodge him when he jumps around. Comment by Just some helpful advice for DK's: if you're gonna solo this guy; spec in chilblains, and whenever he uses 'going bananas', just use your chains of ice on him.

Comment by hug the mountainside closest to the water pool, there should only be one elite that you would have to kill unless you have a taunt woot warlock taunt FTW back up and bring him to the coast, still hugging the mountain, interrupt that jumpy spazzy thing he does as often as possible, he is a 91 elite so non pet classes may have a bit of a time with this one, from my experience downing him on a warlock, use wrathguard with your pet aggro buff, save shadowfury and axe toss for his jumping ability and always pop your heals on your pet, downed him no problems, lvl 90 ilvl Comment by thorshamster Easily killable by 3 rez sickened people, I did it not 20 mins ago.

We had one person, who was our healing monk, kite him around in the water, our pally dps'd him and I a rogue stunned him so he never killed us by going bananas. It worked quite well, no whistle though Comment by Hearthfiend Be aware that he will evade and reset if you go too close to the waterfall. Comment by Talboth Soloed as an ele shaman. Pulled him into the middle of the lake. Elemental totem held him long enough to burn enough health- after that it was kite and burn using Stone Bulwark, occasional heals and my Healing Stream Totem.

Earthgrab Totem also stopped one of his going banana's tirades. There is no way back up to the cliff he is on if you die. You will have to rez at a graveyard, so I'd say to bring a friend! First I cleared out every one of the elite Hozen standing around the Major, then engaged him in the large open space in the middle. Took me about 10 minutes to clear the elite hozens and another minutes to drop Major Nanners.

Luckily the Elite Hozen around the area seem to be on a fairly long respawn, about 20 minutes I would guess. So as long as you clear out the big area of land you should be able to move around and avoid his bananarang and going banana's abilities For the pet classes anyway. Not sure how the other classes would fair against this crazy ape but for any pet class it shouldn't be to difficult with the clearing out strategy.

Comment by Caught him while questing in Valley of the Four Winds.. So he's targetable from the top of it atleast. Comment by wownicolyo As of 5. As an undergeared balance druid, I was able solo him after about 3 attempts. I was able to adjust to his abilities. I began by kiting him quickly into the water. The water is shallow enough that I was able to run and didn't have to swim. Pulling him into the water allowed for me to have all the space I needed due to his abilities. For his " Bananarang ," I just strafed away from him as soon as he began to cast and made sure I didn't run into harm's way.

There isn't anything you can do about " Toss Filth ," but the longer the fight lasts, the buff will stack and damage taken will increase.

I was at 10 stacks before I killed him and it got to where his auto attacks were hurting me pretty badly. This is when I was definitely running around to avoid his hits, relying only on instant spells and procs. As a boomkin, I hardly ever was able to actually cast a spell as I had already died to him a few times and I was running around like an idiot in order to avoid his really hard-hitting attacks.

But using a mixture of Rejuvenation and Nature's Swiftness for a quick Healing Touch, Lifeblood herbalism , Barkskin, and any other defense cooldowns, I was able to last long enough to pretty much kill him using mostly instant spells. It may not have been the most effective way, but it was 2am and I really didn't care.

Comment by Rarehunter Hozen rares including this one can be easily soloed as a shadow priest with proper timing. If you time it right, you can get Void Tendrils on him before he does it. If you do, he'll simply stand in place, unable to bounce around. Comment by ruvi12 Totally useless information: Nanner is slang for banana.

Comment by platopi when he does "going bannanas" if he's about to land near you, you can jump right before he lands and you will not take any damage Comment by kevbo72 Solo'd as an average geared 90 BM hunter. Very easy. Stand in the water right up against the cliff. Send your pet up to attack Nanners then pull your pet back by putting it on passive.

Head to the middle of the water and then send your pet back in once Nanners is there. Stand at max distance and just burn him down. Easy burn, just stand at max distance to avoid his random jump ability. Also avoid the bananarang if he uses it. I didn't have to kill any of the elite Hozen doing it this way, but others have said that they had to kill the one closest to where you send your pet up the hill at Nanners. Comment by Mantrhax Major Nanners is Bugged at Uldaman for more than 3 weeks now, and looks like Blizzards still incopetent to fix it Comment by Nanners is no longer bugged killed him today on my BM hunter.

Super easy fight just as Kevbo72 said, just pull him to the water and burn him, didnt even have to use a tanking pet, It was just me and my faithful kitty :. Nanners was killed today at Am server time :. Comment by Nemesisra Bugged on Medivh, two days now. Can't hit him :. Comment by Killing the elite hozen in the area before he spawns is useless: they will spawn again together with Major Nanners. Comment by zeddicul I am not sure if this will work every time but I found a nice trick.

Stand against the mountain on the top of the bank right by the water. This should put you in range for a ranged attack. This is also away from the adds. Aggro him and turn around and run right through the gap between the large rock in the water and the bank. Run through the water and stop right as you get out on the beach. When I did this Major Nannors got stuck between the rock and bank. He can only hit you with one ranged attack that does very little damage and you can kill him very easy.

Comment by After perfecting the Hunter Solo of Major Nanners i have discovered the best way to kill him. When you fly towards his spawn land right on the edge before the water. Then kill the add you aggro when you land. Next, place your pet on defensive. If you did this properly nanners should be located on the slant of the hill fighting your tank pet.

Move away and dps the rare. His Bananarang should last only like a second and he will remain stationary for Going Bananas. This should keep him nice and contained for an easy fight.

During Going Bananas make sure you heal your pet because every "smash" in the ability is hitting your pet rather than just one or two. Sorry for waiting to post this i wanted my Wikki Whistle before in case someone from Blizz read this and fixed it. I would assume a Warlock would be able to utilize this technique also.

Happy Hunting, Wymorbar Cairne. Comment by This ooking monkey fellow is quite annoying, but after a couple of deaths I finally managed to kill him alone, being a Guardian druid without any epic equipment. Now, he is surrounded by a few elite mobs, but they stand rather far away from him, so pulling him the right way doesn't attract them as well. Based on my experience, the best way to pull him is to come from the lake and to stand on the rock next to the one he's standing on.

Then you should go down to the lake and stay in the water close to the ground. That way he won't pull any elite mobs around and you will have enough space for maneuvering at the same time. For you melee players, his nastiest ability is Going Bananas.

He starts jumping around and if you're unlucky enough to let him land on you, he'll deal lots of damage especially when you've got some Toss Filth on you. You can solve the problem by stunning him while he casts Going Bananas , otherwise you shall run.
